Suspect sought for punching and slashing a man while riding the bus in the Bronx: cops

Cops are looking for a man who attacked another man while riding the bus in the Bronx earlier this month.

According to police, at 8 a.m. on Feb. 1 a 56-year-old man was riding a northbound MTA BX 17 bus when he went to sit next to an unknown man. The man shouted at the victim, “Don’t sit next to me!”, and the victim moved to a different seat.

The man proceeded to get up and punched the victim in the face. The suspect also slashed the victim in the left hand with an unknown sharp object before getting off of the bus at East 163rd Street and Prospect Avenue. He then fled southbound on Prospect Avenue.
