The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) announces the prominent leaders who will receive the most prestigious awards at their new annual event, New York Forever: A Celebration of Our City, on June 23.
REBNY will recognize those that have been committed to the welfare of New York residents and the personal, professional, successful contributions each honoree has made to the industry.
“For generations, REBNY’s honorees have set the standard for professional accomplishment and commitment to New York City,” REBNY Chairman Douglas Durst said. “Even as we bring an exciting new look to our annual event, one thing that will never change is the exemplary leadership of our award recipients.”
This annual event will include a networking reception with food tasting in various canapes from top New York City chefs like guest chef Daniel Boulud.
The honorees recognized: Hazel Dukes, President of the NAACP, receiving the Public Service Award. Tom Elghanayan, Chairman and Co-Founder of TF Cornerstone Inc., receiving the Lifetime the Leadership in Real Estate Award, Hal Fetner, President of Fetner Properties; Jeff Levine, Founder of Douglaston Development; and David Picket, CEO of Gotham Organization, receiving the Distinguished New Yorker Award, Sarah Saltzberg, Co-Owner of Bohemia Realty Group receiving the Humanitarian Award, Darcy Stacom, Head of New York City Capital Markets at CBRE receiving the Memorial Broker Recognition Award, Frank Pusinelli, Chief Operating Officer-Operating Assets at RXR Realty receiving the Management Executive of the Year Award and Laura Jackson, Senior Vice President of SL Green Realty Corp. receiving the Young Real Estate Professional of the Year Award.
