After trading a pair of All-Pro players ahead of the NFL trade deadline, the New York Jets return to the gridiron for a home contest against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon. Justin Fields and Breece Hall seek consecutive victories after picking up a win ahead of the bye week. The Cleveland Browns enter Week 10 with just one win over their last five games, a 31-6 win over the equally subpar Miami Dolphins last weekend.

Kick Off: 1:00 p.m. ET (Sun., 11/09/25)
Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, New Jersey)
Cleveland is less than a one-score favorite (-2.5 points) entering the road contest at MetLife Stadium. The Browns have struggled across the board with underwhelming records: a 3-5 mark against the spread, a 2-6 record against the moneyline and only three wins to five losses against the over-under in 2025. New York has severely struggled against the moneyline with a 1-7 record, but have been even against the spread (4-4) and own a positive record against the over-under (5-3).

Best Bet: Breece Hall 70+ Rushing Yards
Hall enters Week 10 following his best performance of the season with 133 yards and two touchdowns in the stunning 39-38 win over the Bengals in Week 8. It was the Nebraska-native’s second 100+ rushing performance of the season, and the first time he entered the painted surface for points this season. Hall has averaged 85 yards per game over his last five contests, but faces a tough test against Cleveland’s top 10-ranked rushing unit in Week 10. The 24-year-old ‘s best performances this season were against Miami in Week 4 (81 yards) and against Dallas in Week 5 (113 yards). Hall will looking to piggyback off of his masterful 133-yard rushing effort against Cincinnati last weekend.

The Browns defense has been their standout group this season. Cleveland is ranked third overall in yards allowed per game, sixth-best against the pass, and ninth-ranked versus the run. Despite the defensive success, Cleveland hasn’t translated those results into consistent wins in 2025. That can create a demoralizing effect on a defensive unit that has played well, but isn’t seeing the positive results in the standings. If Hall can spring a run against the Browns, it could go along way towards a positive result for the Jets.

It will be anyone’s guess how the Aaron Glenn’s football team responds to the roster moves at the NFL’s trade deadline, decisions which clearly positioned the Jets for the future. New players have an unexpected opportunity to step up on the defense for New York, while the offensive stars like Fields and Hall seek to continue the form they found before the bye week. Don’t expect an easy day for Cleveland as the Jets get used to a new normal on the defensive side of the football. However, it could be an enjoyable Sunday afternoon for fans inside MetLife Stadium if the offense continues to click like it did in Week 8.
