The New York City Marathon is back on Nov. 4, and there are some tasty perks.
As you train for the 26.2-mile race, you may need to load up on carbohydrates prior to the big day — on the cheap. It’s easy to find food that’ll give you the carbs you need, but not when you’re trying to save money.
Whether you’re training, want to carb-load just before the race or celebrate afterward, we have a list of some specials and low-cost meals to take advantage of.
Patavini, a new pasta boutique at 1794 Broadway, will have a special marathon edition potato gnocchi with vegan pesto sauce and turmeric, chickpeas and chia seeds Friday through Sunday. Runners will get 15 percent off.
Take advantage of a special carbo-load dinner menu for $48 per person, which includes roasted red beet salad, whole wheat cavatelli and turkey breast with mashed potatoes. Those who go to Cardoncello on the following Monday will get a 10 percent discount when they show a marathon medal.
Bond 45 (221 W. 46th St., 212-869-4545), Cafe Fiorello (1900 Broadway, 212-595-5330) and Trattoria Dell’Arte (900 Seventh Ave., 212-245-9800) will be offering a "Pasta Gigante," a 10-ounce portion of rigatoni and Pomodoro sauce topped with ricotta for $25. Runners will also get free blankets, coconut water bottles and chocolate milk at Trattoria Dell’Arte on the day of the race.
Church & Dey inside the Millenium Hilton New York Downtown is offering a $25 unlimited pasta dinner. Runners can choose from cavatelli pasta with shrimp, broccolini with basil and parmesan; tri-color penne with basil pesto; or rigatoni Bolognese. (55 Church St., 212-312-2000)
To help runners prepare on Nov. 3, Woodpecker will serve up a "Carb Bar" with pasta dishes, wood-fired pizza and more for $5 only. Then on Nov. 4, runners can recover with a free beer and a "Roadrunner Pizza" on the house. (30 W. 30th St., 646-398-7664)

Get a free Double Smashed Burger with a Gigawatt IPA when you show your medal at any one of Clinton Hall’s locations (230 E. 51 St.; 16 W. 36th St.; 90 Washington St.; 247 Metropolitan Ave. (Williamsburg); 601 E. 189th St. (Bronx).

Free bottles of wine
The following restaurants will offer a free bottle of wine to runners who show this year’s medal: Don Angie, Quality Italian, Quality Meats, Quality Eats, Smith & Wollensky, Park Avenue and Maloney & Porcelli.
Visitors to the NYC Marathon Expo at the Javits Center can grab a free drip coffee with any purchase when they show their bib and those who need to carb load should head in for a free pasta dish with their dinner, including cavatelli verde, triangoli, spaghetti, torchio and raviolo doppio.
For two days only, Irvington is offering a pre- and post-marathon pasta special for $22 —house pappardelle pasta made with lamb ragu, arugula and parmesan. (201 Park Ave. S., 212-677-0425)
Carb load on Housemade rigatoni and meatballs at Kingside on Nov. 3 or head there on the day of for a Kingside burger and IPA for $25. (124 W. 57th St., 212-707-8000)
