Alexis Arquette, an actress and transgender activist, died Sunday morning at the age of 47, her brother Richmond Arquette revealed in a Facebook post.
Actors Patricia and David Arquette are related to Alexis, who was known for her roles in films including “The Wedding Singer” and “Pulp Fiction.”
In 2007, Arquette starred in a documentary released at the Tribeca Film Festival, “Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother,” where her journey transitioning from male to female was recorded.
