Kesha returns to studio, will release single with Zedd

Kesha fans are abuzz after the singer posted an Instagram photo of herself recording in a studio on Wednesday.

The “Tik Tok” singer teamed up with Grammy-award winning producer and DJ Zedd for a recording session.

“It’s a miracle when someone gives you a chance at finding your voice again with no reason other than that he is a [expletive] beautiful person with a heart of gold,” the singer posted along with a gritty black and white photo of her singing in a recording booth.

Though Kesha is in the midst of a legal battle over her contract with producer Dr. Luke, Zedd posted on Twitter that the two were given permission to work together.

“Just to clarify: We didn’t use any loop holes. Kemosabe / RCA gave us permission to release this song!” he wrote.

The two also posted preview art for the collaboration, which will be released on Friday.

Kesha’s bid to be released from her contract with Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, was denied by a judge in February. The lawsuit is ongoing.

Kesha has accused Dr. Luke of sexual assault and other abuses.

Dr. Luke has adamantly denied the allegations.
