BYOB — that’s Bring Your Own Binoculars — and chat up local astronomers who will be on hand with high-powered telescopes to help you distinguish between the Big and Little Dippers, as well as offer talks and demos on space science. Be sure to RSVP and remember that the event is weather permitting. (Saturday, 7-10 p.m., FREE, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, Pier 86, 46th St. and 12th Ave., RSVP to educationevents@intrepidmuse um.org, intrepidmuseum.org)
