Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife of a year and a half, publicist Hannah Bagshawe, have welcomed their first child.
According to a birth announcement Saturday in The Times of London, the couple’s daughter Iris Mary was born Wednesday.
British star Redmayne, 34 — who won the best actor Academy Award for playing Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything” (2014), and earned a second nomination for his role as historical figure Lili Elbe, one of the first known transgender women, in “The Danish Girl” (2015) — became engaged in summer 2014 after dating for two years.
