John Lennon’s drawings, handwritten poems to be offered at Sotheby’s

A trove of John Lennon’s original drawings and manuscripts are set to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s on June 4. The works come from the private collection of publisher Tom Maschler, who helped get two of Lennon’s books published. The 89 lots are valued at an estimated $500 to $70,000.
