Five-time Grammy-winner Mariah Carey will return to Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre in December for her third annual “All I Want for Christmas Is You” concert series.
Carey, whose 1994 single “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has sold more than 14 million copies, will perform Dec. 5, 7, 8, 13 and 14. Tickets go on sale to the public Saturday at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com
Promoter Live Nation Entertainment said Tuesday that Carey’s show would draw from her 1994 album “Merry Christmas” and 2010’s “Merry Christmas II You.”
Carey’s holiday discography includes the concert series’ title song as well as such modern classics as “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” first performed in 1963 by Darlene Love, and such traditional carols as “O Holy Night.”
The singer and sometimes-actress (“Precious,” TV’s “Empire”) has had a stream of No. 1 hits, from 1990’s “Vision of Love” to 2008’s “Touch My Body.” Her most recent album is 2014’s “Me. I Am Mariah . . . The Elusive Chanteuse.”
