The wait is over as BTS reclaims the global stage! With a new album dropping in March and a 70-plus-city world tour kicking off in April, the K-pop titans are set to deliver the biggest comeback of their careers.

It has been nearly four years since BTS last took the stage as a full group. Now that they have completed their mandatory South Korean military service, the members are poised for what many are calling an epic comeback. The five-time Grammy-nominated group has long been celebrated for spreading messages of positivity, spearheading initiatives such as the LOVE MYSELF campaign, and delivering their powerful “Speak Yourself” speech at the United Nations.

As 2026 ushers in a new chapter for Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS)—which translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts” and also serves as an acronym for “Beyond the Scene”—the group is preparing to release their fifth full-length album on March 20, alongside what is being heralded as the biggest tour of their career.

Widely regarded as K-pop royalty, BTS became one of the first Korean acts to break through language and racial barriers following their debut in June 2013, redefining pop culture and the global reach of the Korean music industry. The last time RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook performed together was in April 2022 in Las Vegas during “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE.” In the years since, each member showcased their individuality through successful solo releases.

On Jan. 13, the group’s global fanbase, affectionately known as ARMY, woke up to news of what is being dubbed the comeback of the decade. The tour will kick off April 9 in Seoul, South Korea, and feature multiple-night stadium stops with a 360-degree, rounded stage design, offering fans an immersive concert experience while increasing venue capacity. The tour will also mark BTS’s first performances in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Kaohsiung.

Ticketmaster Battle

Tickets are set to go on pre-sale Jan. 22 for ARMY membership holders via Weverse. Fans hoping to attend are encouraged to register by Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. EST for verification. While pre-sale access does not guarantee tickets, the long-awaited return of BTS is expected to spark intense demand, setting the stage for what many anticipate will be a Ticketmaster battle.

According to Live Nation, “U.S. Membership or Global Membership holders may register for up to three cities in North America. Registration is limited to three North America cities per Weverse ID (email address), regardless of whether that email is linked to both a U.S. and Global Membership. Only one email address may be used per person.”

Additionally, the email address associated with the Ticketmaster account must match the Weverse ID, and fans are strongly encouraged to have their ARMY membership number readily available before purchasing tickets.

For those in the Tri-State area, BTS will perform on Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with presale beginning at 11 a.m. EST.
