Nick Gordon to open up about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death on ‘Dr. Phil’

In his first interview since the death of his girlfriend, music scion Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon will face questioning from TV psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw.

“Tell me what happened the night Krissy went into the coma,” McGraw asks Gordon in a promotional clip released Monday for the “Dr. Phil” episode scheduled to air April 28. “I want to give you a chance to set the record straight,” McGraw adds. “Did you murder Bobbi Kristina Brown?” Viewers will have to tune in to hear Gordon’s response.

Gordon had appeared on the show of March 11, 2015, in which he became highly emotional and afterward checked himself into rehab.

Gordon and another man had discovered Brown, the daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late pop star Whitney Houston, unresponsive in her townhouse in suburban-Atlanta Roswell, Georgia, on Jan. 31, 2015, according to the police report. While no criminal charges have been filed against Gordon, Brown’s estate has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit alleging “a violent altercation . . . after which he placed her in the bathtub unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture.”

Gordon’s attorneys said last month that Gordon “tried to save Bobbi Kristina’s life. The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one.”

After months in a coma, Brown died July 26, 2015, at age 22.
