When doesn’t Taylor Swift have something up her sleeve?
The "You Need to Calm Down" singer opened a pop-up shop in New York City to celebrate the release of "Lover" and fans lined up in the rain to get a glimpse of her new merch.
Hundreds of Swifties began huddling outside "The Lover Experience" in Chelsea as early as 7 a.m. Friday, hoping to be the first to shop when doors opened at 10 a.m.
"From the streets of NYC! Waiting to get into the #Lover experience pop up," one fan wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of herself trying to take cover from the rain under a denim jacket.
Swift’s new clothing line with British designer Stella McCartney was available for purchase at the pop-up, which was slated to remain open Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at 60 10th Ave.
The Stella x Taylor Swift collection includes tees, sweatshirts, denim jackets, totes and more, all featuring pastel hues, airbrushed designs and tie-dye patterns.
Swift, 29, wasn’t confirmed to make an appearance at the pop-up, but fans remained hopeful.
"Standing in line at the NYC @taylorswift13 Lover Experience Pop Up Shop … Hoping Taylor drops by to say Hi. #IHaveNeverMetTaylor but I’m hopeful this era will be lucky," a Swiftie tweeted.
The singer, who’s notorious for surprising her fans (look to her numerous wedding crashing performances), was in Manhattan ahead of the pop-up’s opening for media appearances.
On Wednesday night, she had pizzas delivered to nearly 200 fans camped out on Fifth Avenue to be first in line for her Thursday morning "Good Morning America" concert in Central Park.
"@taylorswift13’s team — and her dad Scott — brought pizza to the fans waiting in line for her to perform on @GMA tomorrow! #TaylorSwiftOnGMA," a tweet from the morning show’s Twitter account said.
Swift’s 18-track album "Lover," her seventh studio full-length, was released Friday.
