Is your hair so big because it’s full of secrets? If “that’s so fetch!” and “she doesn’t even go here!” live permanently in your vocabulary, you won’t want to miss this new “Mean Girls” themed pop-up coming to NYC.

Following the sold-out success of its Malibu Barbie and “Golden Girls”-themed pop-ups, Bucket Listers is launching the Mean Girls Experience. Inspired by the original film that debuted in 2004, the Mean Girls Experience is coinciding with the release of the new “Mean Girls” film that’s releasing on Jan. 12, 2024.

“There was nothing more grool than the chance to bring the world of Mean Girls to life,” says Bucket Listers President of Experiences, Derek Berry. “It’s truly one of those movies that has stood the test of time and cult fandom. With the new film quickly approaching, there was no better time to honor this beloved classic and bring The Plastics’ world to life. Every day here will be October 3rd.”

Those who come by the Mean Girls Experience will get a first-hand look at what it’s like to attend North Shore High School. The fast-casual restaurant will have chef-driven cafeteria-style fare and guests can pull up a seat at one of the many cliques’ tables. Some of the dishes, created by “Master Chef” semi-finalist Becky Brown, include the Burn Book Burger Sliders, the Stab Caesar Salad, and 1 3 5 Acai Bowl, and for dessert, you can choose from the Kälteen Brownie, Rainbow + Smiles Cake, Is Butter a Carb? Cookies, and the Fetch Strudel.

Guests will also be able to explore recreated versions of iconic sets from “Mean Girls,” including Regina George’s bedroom, and grab a drink at the Cool Mom Bar. There will also be a museum exhibition of notable set pieces and outfits as well as merchandise available for purchase.

Every ticket purchased will include a reserved seat during a window of time to dine, a choice of entree and a candy gram, plus the option to order additional shareable food on the menu.

The experience is set to open in New York City on Jan. 19, 2024. For more information or to reserve your spot on the waitlist, visit bucketlisters.com. You can also follow along at @MeanGirls.Experience and New York Bucket List for all the latest updates.
