This Manhattan gathering is anything but old fashioned.

Whisky lovers will be pouring into Times Square tomorrow as WhiskyFest returns to the city after a tour throughout the nation.

The boozy convention, hosted at the Marriott Marquis, affords attendees the opportunity to meet distillers, master blenders, and other whisky experts who will be in attendance — along with plenty of whisky samples to enjoy.

Those samples come from selection of single malt and blended Scotch, Irish, bourbon, rye, Tennessee, Japanese, Canadian, and craft-distilled whiskies, “all assembled in one Grand Ballroom.”

If you’d rather fancy other drinks, there will also be plenty of high-end rum, cognac, and other spirits available.

“The focus is on education, and many distillery representatives will be on hand at the pouring booths to explain how their whiskies are made,” according to the festival’s website.

Guests can take part in seminars on whisky running during the evening. You can learn first hand about how various brands are made.

Although VIP is currently sold out for the New York fest, general admission passes to WhiskeyFest are still available for $275 online. That ticket comes with a complimentary glass, canvas tote bag and some magazines that spill all sorts of secrets and tips about whiskey. Visit whiskyfest.com/new-york for tickets and information.

The grand tasting begins at 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and an hour earlier for VIP guests; if you can’t make it,  this time around WhiskeyFest will return to Manhattan next October.

Adults 21 and over only. Remember to drink responsibly.
