New York Mets dogs dress up in World Series parade

Henry, wearing classic Mets gear, waits with other rescue dog participants before they embark on what is called the first New York Mets World Series "Puppy Parade," Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, as rescued dogs and people joined together to celebrate the NY Mets and pet adoption among NewYork sports fans. The dogs, brought together by Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, a non-profit pet rescue organization, joined the Suffolk County SPCA at Shelter Chic, a pet adoption center on Chambers Street in Manhattan, where festivities came together. The groups rescue puppies and dogs from high kill shelters, owner surrenders, puppy mills and medically-neglected and suffering dogs and give them the proper medical care they need.
