Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio made waves on Monday when he strolled into a New Hampshire campaign event in black heeled boots that were reminiscent of Bob Dylan circa 1966.
A New York Times reporter tweeted a photo, and the Internet jumped on the chance to discuss it. From New York Magazine’s The Cut to the Times style desk, the shoes were widely discussed. Because obviously fashion makes politics fun! But the shoes were also a story because the heeled boot was an unexpected choice for the Florida politician.
