Police released video on Sunday morning of a suspect wanted in connection with an early-morning stabbing at an Upper Manhattan grocery store on Saturday.

Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 22 inside Joe’s Gourmet Health Deli at 3161 Broadway, just below 125th Street.

That’s when a 57-year-old male victim got into an argument with another man, officials said. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation, and the other man then allegedly stabbed the victim several times in the chest and torso.

The assailant then fled the store in an unknown direction, police reported.

The victim sustained internal injuries, police said. EMS units rushed him to Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police released surveillance images and video of the suspect, who is wanted for assault in the 26th Precinct. Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA, visit the Crime Stoppers website or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
