Would-be thief flees empty-handed after trying to rob a Bronx 7-Eleven employee

Cops are looking for a would-be crook who tried to rob a 7-Eleven employee in the Bronx last month.

According to police, at 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 28, a 58-year-old woman was working at 7-Eleven, located at 2192 White Plains Road, when an unknown man approached the counter and became irate for unknown reasons. The suspect then went behind counter and tried to take cash from the victim’s hand.

The victim resisted, and the suspect fled the scene empty-handed. The victim suffered minor pain to her hand and refused medical attention at the scene.
