Detectives are looking for the shooter who pulled the trigger on a 56-year-old man and killed him outside a Brooklyn public housing complex on Monday evening.

James Huff, a resident of Strauss Street, was gunned down near the Brownsville Houses at 275 Blake Ave. at about 6:34 p.m. on April 18.

Officers from the 73rd Precinct, while responding to a 911 call about a man shot, found Huff at the location with two gunshot wounds to his chest, and a third wound to his arm.

EMS rushed him to nearby Brookdale University Hospital, where he died a short time later.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.

Sources familiar with the case said that police are looking for a woman who was seen fleeing the location after the shots were fired inside of a silver sedan.
