Winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold at Brooklyn grocery store

Another winning Powerball ticket was sold in New York City, this time at a Brooklyn grocery store.

The second-prize ticket was sold at New Anchor Grocery and Halal Meat, located at 544 Hemlock Street. The winning numbers on the Feb. 5 drawing were 08, 27, 29, 36, 47, and the Powerball number was 24. The ticket is worth a guaranteed $1,000,007.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

This winning ticket is the latest of Powerball winners sold in New York City. Three weeks ago, another second-prize ticket for the Feb. 5 drawing was sold Long Island City at Food Bazaar, located at 42-42 Northern Boulevard.
