Two suspects are at large for beating a man unconscious with a bike lock in the Flatiron District on Friday night, police reported.

According to police sources, a 36-year-old man got into an argument with two unknown men outside of Home Depot located 23rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues at around 7:58 p.m. on March 8 when he was bashed in the head with a bike lock.

“I saw him getting stretchered away,” a dog walker said, who did not provide his name. “He had a bad head wound.”
