Detectives have charged a Long Island man with fatally stabbing a 17-year-old New Jersey teenager in SoHo early on Thanksgiving morning, police reported.

Law enforcement sources said Gianluca Bordone, 19, of Oyster Bay allegedly knifed Rocco Rodden, 17, of Warren, NJ, and another 19-year-old man following a dispute that broke out at about 1:50 a.m. on Nov. 23 outside of 96 Lafayette St., near White Street.

Officers from the 5th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found both Rodden and the 19-year-old male victim, stabbed in the torso.

EMS rushed both victims to Bellevue Hospital, where Rodden was pronounced dead; the 19-year-old victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

The 5th Precinct had seen four homicides through Nov. 19 this year, according to the most recent CompStat report, one more than the total recorded at the same point in 2022. Felony assaults, meanwhile, are up 16.5% year-to-date.

Following questioning, Bordone was charged Friday with manslaughter and assault; additional charges are pending the results of the ongoing investigation.
