Detectives are looking for the brute who sucker-punched a 66-year-old man on a Chelsea street earlier this month.

The NYPD released video footage on Aug. 15 of the suspect wanted for the attack, which took place at about 7:40 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the area of 10th Avenue and West 29th Street.

According to law enforcement sources, the perpetrator approached the victim, who was walking on the sidewalk at the location, then punched him in the face. Cops said the attack was completely unprovoked.

After delivering the blow, police said, the brute fled on foot eastbound along West 29th Street.

The incident was reported to the 10th Precinct. EMS treated the victim at the scene for a head laceration suffered in the attack.

As shown on the video, the attacker wore a dark, long-sleeved shirt and gray pants while carrying a backpack.
