3 Farms festival turns 3

The third annual 3 Farms festival will take place on Sat., June 5 and 19 in the East River Park Amphitheater from 1-8 p.m. The first concert, on June 5, boasts both a blues-tinged singer from “Saturday Night Live’s” house band, Christine Ohlman, and David Johansen, whose career has seen him go from frontman of The New York Dolls to Buster Poindexter to frontman of the Harry Smiths. The June 19 show includes performances from singer/songwriter Martha (daughter of Loudon III, sister of Rufus) Wainwright and Clem Snide, Brooklyn’s purveyors of alt-country. Lower East Side organizations and businesses, including AKA Café and the Felix Milan Little League, will also participate.
