Members of the Troops Out Now Coalition established “Camp Casey” in Union Square on Monday night Aug. 15 in solidarity with Cindy Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in Iraq. Sheehan has been camping outside the entrance to President Bush’s Crawford, Tex., ranch and vows to remain until she confronts the president about ending the war. The coalition hopes to keep someone in the Union Square camp until Wed. Aug. 17, when Dustin Langley, a coalition member, plans to fly to Texas and join Cindy Sheehan’s vigil.
