Art auction raises over $30,000 for Haiti relief
Art auction raises over $30,000 to help rebuild Children Harvest School in Port au Prince, Haiti. Over 70 contemporary and Haitian artists donated works to the auction, which was held last week at the Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center. "These funds will go a long way in rebuilding my sister’s school, which is a refuge for its neighborhood and educates over 250 children in desperate need," said Jacqueline Fils-Aime, the Tribeca-based sister of the director of the Children’s Harvest School.
