Rainy forecasts swamped the Battery Park City Neighbors’ Association annual Springfest celebration last weekend, but now with forecasts of mild temperatures and sunny skies, Springfest is on in Rockefeller Park this Saturday, June 2 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The fun will range from hands on activities like Plant-A-Seed to often dreaded Fitness Assessments. There will also be Handball Tournament for teenagers. Guests can enjoy desserts provided by The City Bakery and Birdbath Neighborhood Green Bakery while watching a magician, violinist, local ballerinas and The TriBattery Pops perform live. The celebration is free for B.P.C.N.A. members with a $10 suggested donation per family for non-members.
