Police on the Upper West Side need the public’s help in finding the buff brute who punched a 70-year-old man during a dispute last month.

The NYPD released on Friday night images of the suspect sought for the attack which occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Aug. 16 in front of the Citarella gourmet market at 2135 Broadway.

During the argument, cops said, the suspect punched the elder man in the face, then fled the scene on foot westbound along West 75th Street.

The incident was reported to the 20th Precinct. Police said the victim sought medical attention on his own and was listed on stable condition at a local hospital.

Authorities described the suspect as a man with a medium complexion and an athletic build, standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with long hair, a beard, and numerous tattoos. He was last seen wearing a black tanktop, light-colored shorts and light-colored sneakers, while carrying a black back and a gallon jug of water.
