The South Street Seaport will host the annual Buskers Fare June 17 and 18.
The free fair, organized by the Lower Manhattan Marketing Association, kicks off Fri., June 17, with Buskers, or the Street Performers Extraordinaire, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and another performance from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The show will be on Pier 17 and features jugglers, face painters, contortionists, singers, dancers and balloonists. Also on Pier 17, the South Street Seaport Museum will have a pirate show from 5 p.m.-6 p.m.
On Sat., June 18, there will be performances all day from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.. The Seaport Museum pirate show will be at noon on Pier 17 on the 18th. The event, Cookin’, will be on Sat. at 1:30 p.m. on the Pier 17 stage. This show includes four chefs drumming, fighting and juggling in a percussion show. There will also be a Eurobungy set-up on the third floor of Pier 17.
