The upcoming week’s schedule of Community Board 1 committee meetings is below. Unless otherwise noted, all committee meetings are held at the board office located at 49 Chambers St., Room 709.
ON TUES. APR. 4 The Battery Park City Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Hallmark on 455 N. End Ave. to discuss the Route 9A / West Street recreation space at 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place. The committee will also continue a discussion on the B.P.C. dog run design on N. End Ave, and a proposed street closure on Sat. June 10 of Warren St. between N. End Ave. and River Terrace for a dog festival.
ON WED. APR. 5 The Financial District Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at Hanover Sq. to discuss the B.S.A. variance application to allow the operation of a Physical Culture Establishment a Hanover Square, the Bowling Green Greenmarket’s relocation two blocks south to Whitehall St. between Water and Pearl Sts. and several liquor license resolutions.
ON THURS. APR. 6 The Tribeca Committee will meet at 6 p.m. to discuss Laight Street Park, a proposal that focuses on the installation of meters, which would allow evening parking on the south side of Canal St. from Broadway to the Manhattan Bridge (resolution), will continue talks about Tribeca’s rezoning and will consider several liquor license applications.
