The upcoming week’s schedule of Community Board 1 committee meetings is below. Unless otherwise noted, all committee meetings are held at the board office located at 49 Chambers St., Room 709.
On Tues., Jan. 4, the Battery Park City Committee will meet at 6 p.m. for a presentation on helicopter procedures established by the Eastern Region Association; and a discussion about pedestrian crossings at Rector St. and South End Ave. and West Thames and South End Ave.
On Wed., Jan. 5, the By Laws Sub-Committee will meet at 5 p.m. to discuss a new code of conduct for board members.
On Wed., Jan. 5, the Financial District Committee will meet at 6 p.m. to draft a resolution regarding a CPC special permit at 63 Wall St. to allow a public parking garage with 85 spaces in the cellar level of an existing building; and to draft a resolution regarding an application for a special permit at 55 Church St. to allow an outdoor café at the corner of Dey and Church Sts.
On Thurs., Jan. 6, the Tribeca Committee will meet at 6 p.m. to draft a resolution regarding a special permit application at 415 Greenwich Street to allow residential conversion and accessory parking; to draft a resolution regarding a CPC special permit at 88 Leonard Street to allow a public parking facility with approximately 200 spaces; to draft a resolution regarding a DOT application for 60 Hudson St. to install planters and bollards around the perimeter of the building; and for a discussion about a proposal to redirect the 6th Ave. commuter bus bound for the Holland Tunnel across Canal St. instead of Watts St.
