Children’s Activities

Go Fish Kids fishing at Wagner Park, Battery Park City. On Sat., Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be “Go Fish” featuring fish-related art projects, music, and, of course, fishing. Fishing is for children ages 5 and older. But the music is for “children” of all ages.

WEDNESDAYS IN THE PARK, Wed., 3:30-5:30 p.m., West Thames Park: Join other kids for an afternoon of neighborhood games & art. For children 5 years & older.

TEENS

ART FOR TEENS, Mon.-Tue., 4-5:30 p.m., Rockefeller Park: Develop your art skills with training and guidance of a professional educator. Material provided.

BACKGAMMON, Mon., 3:30-5:30 p.m., Rockefeller Park: Backgammon after school with the guidance of an expert instructor.

CHESS LESSONS, Mon., 3:45-6 p.m., Rockefeller Park: Expert instruction on the strategy of the game. Separate classes for beginners and advanced students, call 212-267-9700 to register.
