A one-alarm fire in Chinatown Tuesday morning sent two people to the hospital and left one pooch rattled. Firefighters were called to 31 Oliver St. just after 9 a.m. on April 4 to the residential building. One adult was rushed to New York Downtown Hospital and another was sent to Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital because of eye irritation, Seth Andrews, a Fire Dept. spokesperson, said. And a pit bull terrier was disoriented and given oxygen, but in good condition otherwise. The Fire Dept. does not know the cause of the blaze.
