Correction

An article in the Jan. 15-21 issue of Downtown Express, “Late night school meeting ends in no decision,” incorrectly described the neighborhood that would be zoned for P.S. 89 under Option 3R. That option would zone all of south Tribeca for P.S. 89, not just southwestern Tribeca, as the article stated. Also, the article paraphrased Community Education Council member Michael Markowitz as saying that the school leadership teams of P.S./I.S. 276 and the Spruce Street School support Option 3R. Neither S.L.T. has taken a formal position, but the parents on the Spruce S.L.T. said they support Option 3R.
