D.O.T. worker stars in ‘The Big Sleep’ near the Seaport

A Dept. of Transportation worker caught some shut-eye behind the wheel of his idling vehicle on Water St. near Peck Slip on Monday. A photographer knocked on the window and woke the worker up, then pointed out that it probably isn’t the best idea to sleep with the motor running. The worker nodded and said, “Yeah, OK.” A D.O.T. spokesperson said the agency took disciplinary action against the employee.
