Dancing the night, and day, away at the Biennial

On Sunday, dancers filled the Park Avenue Armory’s drill floor on the second day of a 24-hour dance marathon. The marathon was part of Lower East Sider Agathe Snow’s piece for the Whitney Biennial, a weeklong dance event called “Stamina: Gloria et Patria.” From March 9-16, Snow held daily dance sessions throughout the armory. Participants logged their hours on time cards. The winner — the person who danced longest — will receive a free trip around the world.
