Not all the objects littering the streets of Downtown are unnerving. Some, like this photograph, can unlock a little bit of history. The picture laid along the bike path by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel May 30 when Battery Park City resident Bruce Brodoff found it. Only a year, 1932, is written on the back. Brodoff, who is also spokesperson for the Downtown Alliance, is hoping the picture’s reproduction on this page may lead to a few good stories and perhaps the rightful home of this happy couple. Anyone with information about the picture or it’s owner should email news@DowntownExpress.com or call 212-229-1890 and ask for the news room.
