Dual Memory

Brian Strawn (architect, Chicago) and Karla Sierralta (architect from Venezuela originally, currently lives in Chicago)

Idea: The North Tower footprint represents individual memory and would have a light portal for each victim. Water would flow down to an area where there would be a picture of each person who died. The South Tower would represent the shared memories and would have 92 sugar maple trees for each country that lost a citizen.

Maintains Libeskind cultural building layout.

Accessibility: The plaza would be below street level.
