Duo wanted for beating woman on Greenwich Village street and forcing money transfer from her phone

Cops are looking for a duo who robbed a woman on a Greenwich Village street over the summer.

According to police, at 8:55 p.m. on Aug. 31, a 23-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Bleecker Street and LaGuardia Place when she was approached by two unknown individuals. The suspects proceeded to punch and kick the victim in the head before taking her cellphone and transferring $750 to themselves through Zelle.

The suspects then fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained scratches and bruising to her head and body and was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment.

The NYPD released a photo and video of the suspects, who are described as a man and a woman both wearing dark clothing:
