The Chinese Folk Dance Company and Drum Spirit of China performed at AsiaFest on Saturday, June 5, on Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport. The event was part of the 15th annual Pathmark Multicultural Arts Festival. Below, 8-year-old Alice Chacon practices the handkerchief dance. Top, a performer dances the peacock dance.
