Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty will perform a free concert at South Street Seaport next Wednesday, in support of his new album that hit stores this weekend.
The former lead singer of Creedence Clearwater Revival will perform songs from “The Blue Ridge Rangers Ride Again” at Pier 17 on Sept. 2. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The new album features several of Fogerty’s favorite classic songs as well as a single of his own, “When Will I Be Loved.” His album includes John Denver’s “Back Home Again” among other covers, and Bruce Springsteen sings on one of the tracks.
