On Monday night, the Battery Park City Parks Conservancy held their annual tree lighting ceremony. A special feature of this year’s celebration was a one-hour concert of holiday songs by The Roches. Several hundred people and children of all ages filled the plaza, feasting on plates of cookies and cups of hot apple cider and cocoa.
