Admission is free, but a ticket for each night is required. Festival pass holders must also have specific Tribeca Drive-In tickets, which will be distributed through designated outlets, including the Festival Box Office.

Every year, world-renowned artists create the awards presented at the Tribeca Film Festival. Once again we will honor their contribution with a special exhibit, free and open to the public throughout the Festival, hosted by Nokia. Take this rare opportunity to view the works of Matthew Barney, Eric Fischl, April Gornick, Stephen Hannock, Nicky Nodjoumi, Richard Prince, Todd Stone, and Tom Sachs.
Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair
The Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair on Saturday April 30, 2005 will be a fun-filled experience for families that will unfold along 12 blocks of Greenwich Street between Beach and Duane Streets, with food, entertainment and family activities all day long.
Dozens of family-friendly neighborhood restaurants and merchants will participate, along with schools and other organizations from the Tribeca community. There will be entertainment and special performances throughout the day on the street and on multiple Festival Stages, along with crafts, games, story telling, art shows, and character appearances.
The Street Fair will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Discussions by industry leaders in filmmaking, directing, acting, production and writing in the entertainment community, including a conversation with renowned director Sydney Pollack, director of the 2005 Festival’s opening night gala premiere, The Interpreter, starring Sean Penn and Nicole Kidman and written by Charles Randolph, Scott Frank and Steven Zaillian.
Fierce People, a world premiere of Griffin Dunne’s new drama, a Lions Gate Films Release, starring Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland and written by Dirk Wittenborn.
The Great New Wonderful, a world premiere of the new film directed by Danny Leiner (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), written by Sam Catlin, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, Edie Falco, Tony Shalhoub and Olympia Dukakis that interweaves five stories in post-9/11 New York City.
House of Wax, directed by Jaume Collet-Sera, and starring Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, Brian Van Holt, Paris Hilton, Jared Padalecki, Jon Abrahams and Robert Ri’chard star, is a remake of the 1953 horror classic House of Wax 3-D, starring Vincent Price and tells the story of a group of friends who fall prey to a sinister plot while passing through a small town on their way to a college football game. It will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Through the Fire, a world premiere documentary directed by Jonathan Hock that follows star basketball player Sebastian Telfair through his senior year in high school, his decision to attend the University of Louisville and ultimately his decision to go pro.
Show Business, world premiere directed by Dori Berinstein and written by Berinstein and Richard Hankin, which tracks four Broadway musicals – Avenue Q, Taboo, Caroline, or Change, and Wicked from inception through the Tony Awards
New to the Festival this year is The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) Music Lounge, an intimate and dynamic showcase featuring live performances by emerging and established artists.
Performances will be held April 27 – 29 at the Knitting Factory, 74 Leonard Street in Tribeca.
