The 39th Annual Village Halloween Parade took place on Monday night and Sixth Avenue once again was taken over by spooky characters of all shapes and sizes. The parade started at Spring Street and participants marched north to West 17th Street. This year’s theme was “Eye of the Beholder.”
Current events always find their way into the parade and this year it was the Occupy Wall Street protests. A contingent of over 200 demonstrators dressed as “Wall Street superheroes.”
