The River Project, the Stevens Institute of Technology and the Hudson River Park Trust will be presenting LIVE! From the Bottom of New York Harbor on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Picnic House, Pier 40 at W. Houston St. at 7 p.m.
Divers will be filming aquatic life underneath the pier with Clay Hiles, executive director of the Hudson River Foundation leading the ceremony. The River Project will be reviewing the sounds of certain fish classes and providing information on the return of oysters to New York’s harbor.
The river center will also be showing clips of how marine life survives in the environment off of New York. The event will take place rain or shine.
