The NYPD is investigating the death of a man who was found stabbed in a Brooklyn hotel.
At 9:09 p.m. on May 18, officers responded to a 911 call regarding an assault near the Artel Hotel, located at 9 Malcolm X Boulevard. Upon their arrival, police found a 47-year-old man lying in the lobby of the building with a stab wound to his chest.
EMS responded to the location and rushed the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
