Diane Williams, a member of Housing Works, kept her place Monday in City Hall Park reading the names of some of the millions who have died from AIDS. The AIDS advocacy group read tens of thousands of names over 24 hours this Dec. 1, the 20th anniversary of World AIDS day. About 2 million people around the world died from AIDS last year and there are about 100,000 city residents with H.I.V. “NYC is Still Dying” read the sign in the park.
