New throracic surgery chief at St. Vincent’s

Dr. Paul F. Waters has been named chief of thoracic surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He most recently served as chief of thoracic surgery and director of the lung transplant program at Mount Sinai Medical Center and professor of surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He also has served as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health and on the editorial board of Transplantation Science. He earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto.
