NYPD Strategic Response Group demonstrates anti-terror skills on Randall’s Island

Members of the NYPD’s newly formed Strategic Response Group — which includes a unit dedicated to dealing with hazardous materials — demonstrated its anti-terror skills on Randall’s Island on Wednesday. The group was formed to respond to active shooters and other potentially heavily armed, well-trained attackers targeting soft targets and other key urban areas of New York City.
